Ahhhhh.....Colonia. We highly recommend Colonia, UR if you ever get the chance. It´s a quaint, relaxing place. Seriously, if I had married Brad Pitt (whom AR people love) I would have had him buy me a place in Colonia. By the way, this is Val talking, not Kyle although Kyle wouldn´t mind that big sweaty hunk either. We spent our last day there wandering around the town and attended a mass at a sparsley decorated OLD church. It´s simplicity was beautiful. We meant to leave the mass before the homily began but we messed up and heard the whole thing. We were really inspired...to daydream. No entiendo nada.
We took a ferry back to Buenos Aires and then found our overnight bus to Mendoza. The coach was all first class: fully reclining seats, dinner, breakfast, champagne if you wished (no thank you), and crappy movies. We watched 88 Minutes. Muy estupido. The bus route was on major roads across Argentina but they were mostly bumpy, 2 lane roads the entire way. I HIGHLY recommend a little thing called a relief band if you ever get car sick. I felt fine the whole way!
We´re ready to explore Mendoza now. This a pretty fast computer but we can´t get pictures to post. Booger!
